At Anvil Bikeworks, we pride ourselves on producing precision crafted custom frames at a price you can afford. We combine old world craftsmanship with the latest in materials and technology. Each bike is built by hand, one at a time. Each tube is mitered to precise tolerances and each frame is welded in an Anvil Frame Fixture to eliminate the need for cold setting after the joining process. An Anvil built custom bike may not be the last bike you'll ever want, but it will be the last bike you'll ever need!

We don't cut corners to meet a price point, we don't sacrifice performance or durability to meet fiscal goals. Anvil Bikeworks is at home in a small shop surrounded by trees just outside of Denver, Colorado. Anvil Bikeworks goal is to provide our customers with perfectly aligned custom frames built with precise miters and perfect welds.
A custom frame will fit you better than an off-the-shelf bike. If you walk into your average bike shop, they may ask you to straddle a bike to check for top tube clearance. If they do, walk away. The only way to get a frame that fits you properly is to be fitted for a bike like you'd be fitted for a fine suit of clothes. Everybody agrees bike fit is one of the most important, aspects of cycling. There is also no real standardization in the bike industry when it comes to sizing. One manufacturer's 18-inch mountain bike might have a 22.5-inch top tube and another manufacturers top tube might be 24.5. Add to that the variety of frame angles, dimensions, and steering geometry, and you have a lot of variables when it comes to bike fit. A professionally fitted custom bike can save you time and money in addition to adding to your cycling pleasure.
The fact is, for less than what you'd pay for a top quality frame from one of the big manufacturers, you can have a custom frame built to your specifications, to fit your body, using the best of materials and in the color(s) of your choice. For what you'd pay for just the frame for a high end Litespeed, Merlin, or Seven, you could be hammering away on a complete XTR or Dura Ace equipped Anvil custom steel frame providing better performance and quality.
