About KELLY

Kelly Bike Co. is located in lovely Oakland, California. Our manufacturing facility humms in a 1910 red brick complex that once built ships. Kelly®, for the past ten years, has built road, track, mountain, cyclo-cross, and tandem frames for both pros and serious hobbyists. Until recently, Kelly® built only custom frames. Today, we define ourselves as a high-end production shop. A bit more custom than a mass produced frame, a production Kelly® takes advantage of race ready frame designs that have become Kelly®'s standard. With only 400 frames produced per year, Kelly® maintains its handcraftsmanship.

MOUNTAIN FRAMES

KELLY® mountain frames are manufactured in four sizes (15", 17", 19" and 21") to fit most riders. All frames are steel and are designed to exceed the highest quality standards. Production Frames are tig welded. Performance is "geometry and anatomy" in motion.

KNOBBY CROSS™ "KC" FRAMES

CX is big at Kelly®. We call it Knobby Cross™ "KC" because now you can run "big" knobbies (38c) in the rear as well as the front. The main tubes and stays are a mix of True Temper OX2 and OX Gold, which will lighten the frame while adding more resilience. The fork will look the same as last year¹s model (Unicrown), but it will be made out of Columbus instead of Deddacciai. The 97/98 CX Season Run will include 100 frames & forks (last year we did 50).

ROAD FRAMES

All Kelly® Road Frames are built to order. Because a Kelly® road frame is made specifically for you, it handles. No shuck, no jive, no wierd science -- just quality materials and a good fit -- "geometry and anatomy".
