STANDARD frame geometries for sizes 50 - 60 cm are generally in stock for immediate delivery.
CUSTOM framesets will meet individual requirements for geometry, colors, braze-on's, dedicated track racing or specialties.
My frames are hand-built, one-at-a-time, to insure that each bike has optimum strength, stiffness, comfort, and precision alignment, using traditional brazed steel construction techniques and highest quality lugs and butted tubing. Richard DiGennaro, framebuilder
About Richard:
Richard is a mechanical engineer, having over 25 years experience with precision engineering design and fabrication. He is a project group leader and has engineering oversight for brazing operations at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is a graduate of the United Bicycle Institute Framebuilding Class and has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is preparing for early retirement to a second career building bikes, devoting his evenings and weekends to framebuilding, track racing, and road training. He's been an avid cyclist since age 3 when he rode his first fixed gear tricycle. This past season, Richard's racing results at the Hellyer Velodrome in San Jose enabled him to upgrade to USCF Category 3 for Track Racing. He won 1st place in the "B" Group (~Cat. 3/4) Saturday Race Series 2001 Summer Omnium Points. He also participated in the 2001 USCF Masters Track National Championships in July, with notable results in the Sprints and Points Race. His sights are set for 2002 - to improve his performance in the Points Race and mass start events.
